On August 30, 2021. The third training of the staff in the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Oncohematological Diseases was held on the topic: PROGRAM FOR WORKING WITH TEENAGERS.
The training was attended by team members working directly with users of the service. The lecturer on the topic was Nadezhda Mileva - part-time lecturer at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”, certified positive psychotherapist, basic trainer in positive psychotherapy. The training began with a projective associative game aimed at associating with the emotions and experiences of adolescence, recognizing the main age tasks, examining the experience of a teenager going through or having gone through cancer or hematological disease. Emphasis in the training was the specifics and possible risks of working with teenagers, the administrative mechanism for their entry into the service, the necessary documentation and more.
During the training the participants showed high activity and shared personal and professional experience in the discussions.
